There’s a raison, why I asked if the lifeguard is from switzerland. Why? Because she’s wearing a shirt with the swiss flag on!

I saw that in the USA, first aid places are often marked with a white cross on a red background, which is exactely the swiss flag! Why that? The international first aid sign is a red cross on a white background. License troubles with the red cross organisation?

By the way, the red cross sign and the swiss flag are related! The founder of the red cross, his name was Henri Dunant, were from Geneve, switzerland. Because the organisation was foundet in a sense of christian charity, he was looking for a sign with a cross. In a struck of genius they chosen the flag of the origin country and simply inverted the colors!
