i remember those ball pits at Ikea stores! once, i got a small, cute santa claus toy from the lady looking after the pit after i was ‘deposited’ there while the adults went went furniture shopping. lol.
Just found about your comic, Ryan. And after spending a few hours going through every one of them (and struggling with a pun or two - I consider myself pretty proficient in English idiom, but not being a native speaker is kind of a handicap ^^u) I can certainly say this is probably one of the best webcomics in the net. It’s got the right doses of cute, funny, and all around awesome.
And it is also by far the GREATEST collection of puns known to man :P.
So, all in all, Ryan, you rock absolutely, as does Kimbly, and I’ll be following your comic without fail. You got yourself a new fan ^^
How did I find you? Why, random banner clicking in other comics, of course ^^. I do that a lot to find new reading material. I think the one I landed here from was The Book of Biff, after finding that one via Girl Genius.
And don’t worry, you just keep making your awesome puns (seriously, usually puns make me groan and smack the offender, yet yours make me laugh and awwww. I think Tenderness might have a lot to do with the former, of course :P), and even us foreigners will do our best to get them. You’d be surprised how inventive and good at extrapolation the target demographic of a comic as creative as this can be, even in the barren wastelands of idiocy that is the Internet ;).
BTW, you don’t mind if I use one or two of your comics to illustrate some of the puns if they happen to come up? I was itching to paste the “Gansgstars” one this morning in a discussion forum after repeated mention to “gangstas”. It’d give you some exposition too

Yeah, some of the puns can be hard for non-USA people. i try to keep them as internatonla as i can, but it gets tricky.
The good part is i’ve learned new words from all over the world!
