Here is the Flight crew NYC style. Me, Kean, Johane, and Kazu (Amy was home sick) (Amy was also sick for MOCCA last year. Apparently Mocca makes her sick! )

Friday night started out at the MoCCA museum, where our BIG dinner party met up. We all tried to fit into one small elevator. In the photo we are over Any Ruton's shoulder and we can see Reina, the Dinner planner checking out the camera down in the corner.

Sat was the BIG day, thousands of people came by. It was
awesome! We sold almost everything, it was busy busy all day! Here is one quite moment and Johane and me ham it while Kazu works.

I was giving away free kimbly min-comic and stickers. All the
girls were into it. Here is a photo of some new fans!

This is peter (who does covers for street fighter comics) and my good friend Vince, who does kids books, and paints for blue sky! Last is Tony, who does boards at bluesky. So this is the Blue sky crew.

Amy got better just in time for dinner. Apparently she was ready fight!

Sam Brown it the artist of exploding dog. This comic is a big inspiration to me.. So simple and yet it works and feels arty. Part of kimbly came from him. So it a fantastic to meet him!

This is me and "creature in my head" artist Andrew bell. He’s a fellow NYCer, thought we’ve never meet up before. It was great to meet him also..

Here are Tyler & Cori. Tyler does comic and Cori does the cutest little kids books. I would say “as cute” if not a little cuter than kimbly, so that’s Cute! : ) Plus she had a homemade shirt with a monkey thinking about pie. Cant’ go wrong.

Here is Ryan North, who I had met in Toronto, but we never talked, Ryan does Dinosaur comics, and was “hands down” the funniest part of the weekend.

Now the MOCCA is over and Kean stand on a rickety table to take down our big cool flight poster.

As I said Ryan North won “funniest moment of the weekend”  Ryan North tried to eat 12 saltine crackers in 1 minute. Ryan stated out strong, he got all 12 in his mouth in the first 30 seconds, but then he couldn’t get it all down by the end. So close, but no banana.. Maybe next time!

After Ryan’s crackers, we walked back downtown to dinner, on the way Kean stopped to take a picture of our “sign of the devil” street signs. So I took a picture of Kean taking a picture.

Later we were on the subway, and Kean pretended to be a “normal” subway rider. : )

At the dinner there was about 20 of us and bill came out to over $400.oo!! That’s a lot of comic book money!

During the dinner my end of the table had the most amazing conversation about Muppets. People were singing old Muppet / sesame street song, talking like baby bear, and discussing what was wrong with “Muppets tonight.” This is one of the best Muppet conversations I’ve ever had. Plus it was fun cuz Kathy keep hitting me! ; ) this is the muppet group.

After all that Kazu and I got on the subway, he was going down town and I was going up town. So this is a pic of kazu from across the platform at 12:05 am Monday morning / late Sunday night.

The next day we all met up and walked around Brooklyn and soho. We went to “Kid robot” and saw the cool Gorillaz figures.. Only $150.oo.. These are the first vinyl figures I’ve ever REALLY wanted…

MOCCA was a blast; I loved hanging out with Kean, kazu, the Flight crew, Dumberlla,
and I must Ryan North is the best “other Ryan” I’ve met! : )
